Reflections on NSFC Application

Abstract

Based on his understanding of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, Professor Xu will share insights into key links such as the organization, writing, and review of application materials through practical cases.

Brief Introduction of the Lecturer

Professor Xu Chunxiang, PhD, Doctoral Supervisor, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and Distinguished Professor of Southeast University.
He has long been engaged in the research of semiconductor nanomaterials, devices, and their optical physics, particularly achieving a series of innovative results in microcavity lasers, surface plasmons and luminescence enhancement, photoelectric detection and sensing, and ultrafast spectroscopy. He has successively presided over national, ministerial, and provincial research projects, including the "973 Program", "863 Program", National Key R&D Program, and major/key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
He has been awarded the Second-Class Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education and the Second-Class Prize of National Teaching Achievements. He has been consistently listed as an ESI Highly Cited Researcher and holds more than 40 authorized Chinese invention patents. Currently, he serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Luminescence Branch of the Chinese Physical Society and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Luminescence.
