College of Physics and Electricity successfully held a teaching salon on the theme of innovation of teaching and research mode in the background of information technology
Strengthening the construction of grass-roots teaching organizations and comprehensively improving teachers' ability to teach and educate people are inevitable requirements and important supports to promote the high-quality development of higher education. In the afternoon of Oct. 27, the Department of Physics and Electricity held a school-level teaching salon in Conference Room 401 to discuss the reform and innovation of teaching and research mode under the background of informationization, based on the recent work of virtual teaching and research room declaration, with the theme of declaration and construction of virtual teaching and research room of university physics course group. Based on the recent work related to the declaration of virtual teaching and research room, the theme of the declaration and construction of virtual teaching and research room of university physics course group was discussed. The event was presented by Feng Xu, the deputy director of the Department of Physics, and hosted by Zhang Peipei, the branch secretary. 20 teachers participated in this teaching salon.
Mr. Feng Xu firstly introduced the declaration of the virtual teaching and research room of university physics course group, and shared the experience and problems encountered in the declaration process. After that, the teachers expressed their views and ideas on how to understand the meaning of "virtual" and how to carry out the activities of the virtual laboratory, and discussed the teaching reform and innovation mode of the university physics course group. They discussed the teaching reform and innovation model of university physics course cluster, and offered suggestions on the construction plan and operation mechanism of virtual teaching and research room.
The teaching salon was interactive and enthusiastic, which played a positive role in promoting the teaching reform and the construction of the virtual teaching and research room of the university physics course group.
