Report Title: Electrical manipulation of topological magnetic charges

Time: March 4, 2022, 11:00-12:00

Place: 301 Conference Room, Practice Building

Abstract: Topological magnetic charge is one of the important order parameters of the magnetic domain structure, which determines the topological related electrical and magnetic properties, and the electrical manipulation of topological magnetic charge is the core scientific problem for the future development of topological magnetoelectronic devices. The speaker will introduce the history and frontiers of topological magnetic structure research, and discuss the current manipulation of topological charges "1" and "0", "1" and "-1 "He will also give a presentation on the discovery of arbitrary magnetic topological charges, such as "magnetic bunches".

He graduated from University of Electronic Science and Technology in 2012, and graduated from Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2017, and worked at the Center for Strong Magnetic Fields, CAS from 2017 to 2022. His main research results include the experimental discovery of "magnetic beamlet", the proposed method of significantly enhanced anti-ferromagnetic terahertz spin excitation, the reversible current regulation of "target state magnetic bubble" and sigmoidal-bubble transition, etc. He has been published as the first author/corresponding author in the prestigious journal Nat. He has published many academic papers as first author/corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Nat. Nanotechnol.
