In order to further improve the teaching of public basic courses, deepen the teaching reform, promote the construction of the curriculum, and improve the quality of teaching, the first teaching seminar of University Physics and University Physics Experiment course in the new semester of School of Physics and Electronic Engineering was held in the conference room of 401 of the Building of Physics and Electricity in the afternoon of August 31. Dean Chen Yuanping, Vice Dean Sun Hongxiang, Professor Committee Director Xu Boqiang attended the seminar, and more than 50 teachers from four departments attended the seminar, which was co-chaired by Feng Wei, Director of University Physics Teaching Department and Xu Chenguang, Director of Physics Experiment Center.

On the meeting, Feng Wei introduced the teaching tasks of the new semester of "University Physics" course, and informed the preparation for the current teaching competition for teachers of physics courses, and then focused on the meaning, ways and methods of integrating "Course Civics" into the teaching of "University Physics" course, and shared the excellent He also introduced the course resources of "University Physics", and encouraged all teachers to take this opportunity to actively participate in the construction of the course.

After that, Xu Chenguang introduced the teaching arrangement of "University Physics Experiment" course in the new semester, and put forward specific requirements for all teachers from the aspects of standardizing laboratory safety management, guaranteeing experimental teaching quality and optimizing experimental teaching evaluation. Then the teachers in charge of each laboratory in the Experimental Center explained the key points and difficulties of teaching content and experimental precautions for each experimental project, to ensure the smooth development of experimental teaching in the new semester.
