On the afternoon of October 10th, the School of Physics and Electronics held a donation and distribution ceremony for the Magna Mechatronics China Scholarship in the conference room 301 of the Physics Building. Pan Jinbiao, the secretary of the school's party committee, Gu Yuting, the deputy secretary of the party committee and vice dean, Zhang Li, the director of human resources of Magna Mechatronics Intelligent Business Unit, Zhu Xiaolei, the human resources manager of Suzhou factory, Gao Yong, the human resources manager of Kunshan factory, Shen Lihua, the senior manager of talent development in the Asia-Pacific region of the Mechatronics Intelligent Mirror Lighting Business Unit, human resources business partner Li Wanyu, human resources management consultant Chen Chao, as well as the heads of relevant departments, counselors, and the first group of ten sponsored students from the school attended the ceremony. The ceremony was chaired by Gu Yuting.
Pan Jinbiao expressed heartfelt thanks to Magna Mechatronics China Group, which has always cared for and supported the development of the school and the economically disadvantaged students of the school. He warmly welcomed all the guests attending the ceremony. He pointed out that the assistance provided by Magna Mechatronics China Group to economically disadvantaged students is not only material help, but more importantly, it is spiritual care for the students. He hoped that all the sponsored students would always be grateful and actively improve themselves, becoming the new era's outstanding youth with ideals, courage, resilience, and dedication. Gu Yuting introduced the development of the school's career and the work of supporting and educating people, focusing on the "eight-in-one" support system established by the school for economically disadvantaged students. Zhang Li, the director of human resources of Magna Mechatronics Intelligent Business Unit, introduced the company's recent development and its work in social services, and encouraged the students to study hard and become successful as soon as possible.
At the donation ceremony, Zhang Li, on behalf of Magna Mechatronics China Group, donated RMB 80,000 to the School of Physics and Electronics in one go, establishing the "Magna Mechatronics China Scholarship" to support outstanding students from economically disadvantaged families. Pan Jinbiao, on behalf of the school, presented a donation certificate to Magna Mechatronics China Group.
