The School of Physics and E&E successfully held the third annual all-English teacher teaching competition

On November 1st, in order to inspire the enthusiasm of our faculty to conduct an all-English teaching, and to enhance the English teaching abilities and professional levels of our teachers, the School of Physics and Electronics successfully held the third annual all-English teacher teaching competition in the smart classroom on the second floor of the Practice Building. Four teachers from the Department of Physics, the Department of Microelectronics, and the Physics Experimental Center participated in the competition.

During the competition, the participating teachers combined teaching examples from their courses, fully utilized various teaching methods and techniques, and created a lively classroom atmosphere through well-organized teaching analysis, classroom interaction, heuristic teaching, and the skillful application of course ideology. The teachers' fluent English expression, solid teaching skills, confident gestures, and rich and interesting teaching materials made the professional knowledge easy to understand, demonstrating their professional competence and teaching abilities in using English as a medium of instruction, which was highly recognized by the judges. After intense competition, one first prize, one second prize, and two third prizes were awarded.

After the competition, the judges provided feedback on the performance of the participants, fully acknowledging the outstanding performance of the participating teachers and sincerely congratulating the progress of the English teaching level of the faculty in recent years. At the same time, valuable suggestions were given to the participating teachers regarding teaching content, teaching methods, multimedia presentations, demeanor, and language art, encouraging them to continue to improve their English teaching abilities in their future teaching and to promote the high-quality development of education for international students in our school.
