On the morning of July 9th, Vice President of Shantou University, doctoral supervisor, Secretary-General of the Physics Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, member of the Teaching Informatization and Teaching Method Innovation Steering Committee of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, Professor Chen Min, and Professor Wu Xiaoshan, an expert from the Physics Teaching Steering Committee of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education at Nanjing University, were invited by the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering of Jiangsu University to give two wonderful reports on educational and teaching reforms for the teachers of the School of Physical Electronics. The meeting was chaired by Professor Chen Yuanping, the dean of the School of Physical Electronics.

Professor Chen Min's report was themed "Reflections on the Digital Transformation of Education and Course Trials." Based on the development background of higher education in the new era, he analyzed the characteristics of higher education in the new era, emphasizing that the current development of higher education should adhere to the core of improving the quality of education and teaching and seize the "classroom revolution" reform of online education. He elaborated on the attributes and connotations of the integration of curriculum and teaching materials from the perspectives of the relationship between curriculum and teaching, traditional teaching resources, and emerging teaching resources. He also proposed the concept of educational intelligence and online and offline homogenization to meet the demand for large-scale remote online education. Finally, Professor Chen showcased how the construction of the "Optics" national quality course led by his teaching team achieved the integration of course and teaching materials through information and intelligent technologies such as learning behavior statistics and the "thousand people, thousand questions" system.

Subsequently, Professor Wu Xiaoshan presented on the topic "National Experimental Class of Integrated Undergraduate and Postgraduate Training Model," introducing the successful experience of Nanjing University in running "national laboratory experimental classes." Taking the basic science class as an example, he introduced Nanjing University's experience in the training of integrated undergraduate and postgraduate talents over the past decade, continuously exploring reforms and providing students with personalized, comprehensive training plans. He summarized the experience as "fair education, shared resources, interest-driven, respect for choice, collective care, shared responsibility, student-centered, and common development," and analyzed the leading and exemplary role of the general education model in the training of high-level undergraduate talents from the structural and hierarchical perspectives of higher education teaching.

This lecture shared advanced experiences of top universities in educational and teaching reforms from the perspectives of curriculum system construction and talent training models. The rich and vivid content of the two experts' reports, along with their clear logic, greatly enriched the teachers who attended the lecture. At the same time, it provided more contemplation and planning for the first-class undergraduate professional construction and the cultivation of top-notch talents in our physics department, offering valuable insights for the in-depth optimization of the professional training system in the field of physics.
