In order to further improve the quality of talent training and scientific research strength and strengthen external cooperation, on February 16, Pan Jinbiao, Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Physics and Electricity, and Chen Yuanping, Dean of College of Physics and Electricity, led a team to investigate the joint training of students and scientific research cooperation at the Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prof. Chen Hong, Deputy Director of the Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center of CAS, Prof. Wu Fan, Prof. Cao Chengrong and Prof. Yin Liang of CAS Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center Academy Studio, Mr. Zhang Xiaotian, Director of Investment Department, Mr. Han Wei, Personnel Supervisor, and members of Liyang Science and Technology Mayor Group attended the exchange and discussion.

At the meeting, Prof. Chen Hong expressed a warm welcome to the research group and introduced the basic situation of the organization structure, operation mechanism and business incubation of the Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center of CAS; Prof. Wu Fan, Prof. Cao Chengyong and Prof. Yin Liang introduced the technology development and intelligent manufacturing in the fields of advanced energy storage technology, amorphous physics and advanced metal materials respectively.

Pan Jinbiao and Chen Yuanping introduced the basic situation and future development plan of the college in terms of departmental structure, discipline and professional construction, faculty strength, etc. They hoped to have deep cooperation with the center in terms of integration methods, establishment of practice bases, joint training of graduate students and construction of laboratories. At the end of the seminar, Chen Hong accompanied the group to visit the labs of the center.

The research provided a lot of ideas for the professional construction and discipline construction work of the college, and provided a lot of inspiration for improving the quality of talent training and scientific research strength and high-quality development of the college.
