On September 26th, the College of Physics and Electricity held a lecture on "The First Course of School" for 2021 undergraduates through Tencent Conference. The lecture was given by Pan Jinbiao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Physics and Electronics, and presided over by Gu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the College, with all the 2021 undergraduate students of the College of Physics and Electronics attending.

First of all, Mr. Pan welcomed all the students to Jiangsu University and became a member of the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering, and introduced the history and overview of the university and the school to them. After that, Mr. Pan gave a speech on "cultivating family feelings and moral cultivation", "innovative learning concept and life wisdom", "strengthening one's body and sharpening one's will", "improving 'beauty'", and "improving the quality of life". He talked about his thoughts and understanding to the freshmen of Class 2021 in five aspects: "enhance the cognition of 'beauty' and shape a beautiful mind" and "change the concept of labor and open the road to success". Finally, he encouraged the freshmen of Class 21 to carry forward the spirit of Jiangsu University, which is "self-improvement and virtue, practical work and truth-seeking", to improve themselves from the perspective of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor development, to become a qualified socialist builder and successor, and to contribute to the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The lecture pointed out the direction and goal for the new students of Class 2021, and laid a solid foundation for the next university study life.
