Guijun Yang's presentation on "Remote Sensing Technology and Applications for Precision Agriculture in the Sky
Date:2021-08-25 View:

On the morning of July 19, the college invited Professor Yang Guijun, Director of Remote Sensing Department of National Agricultural Information Technology Research Center, to give an expert report entitled "Remote Sensing Technology and Application in Precision Agriculture" in Conference Room 301. The director of each department and related teachers attended the lecture; the lecture was presided over by Chen Yuanping, the executive dean of the college.

The integrated agricultural information collection method of "sky and ground" will lead the development of agriculture; among them, "sky" means satellite remote sensing data collection; "air" means unmanned aircraft remote sensing data collection; "ground" means ground remote sensing data collection. The "ground", that is, the ground IOT data collection. Through the integrated information collection technology and equipment in the sky and on the ground, we can realize the perception and diagnosis of agricultural data, and finally realize precision planting and intelligent management. Precision agriculture is the future direction of agricultural development and the main way to achieve sustainable agricultural development.

The presentation is of great significance for the college to participate in the construction of new agricultural science and new engineering integration in the university, and to implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping to the university and the three-year action plan of "Project 095".
