Undergraduate students majoring in Microelectronics went to Magna Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. for a internship

To enhance the professional understanding of students in the Microelectronics Department and strengthen their knowledge of industrial production, in accordance with the talent development objectives of the Microelectronics major, on June 13th, the Microelectronics Department of the School of Physical Electronics organized undergraduate students from the 22nd cohort to conduct cognitive internships at Magna Automotive Systems (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. and Magna Automotive Systems (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.

During this internship, students participated in various departments of the company and closely collaborated with technical experts and engineers. They gained in-depth insights into the research, testing, and production processes of automotive electronic systems and observed the production line. Through interactions with industry professionals and the accumulation of practical experience, students acquired valuable industry insights and skills.

Chen Pengfei, Vice President of Operations for the Magna Mechatronics Intelligent Business Unit in Asia, encouraged students to explore various choices and possibilities on the path to achieving their goals. He urged young people to dare to try and explore, not to be confined by fixed thinking, to seek new paths, and to cherish time and seize current opportunities. He advised against blindly pursuing short-term success and emphasized the importance of having a long-term vision and plan. Guided by interests, abilities, and values, young people will be able to find their own path, continually pursue excellence, and realize their personal growth and value. He encouraged young people to be down-to-earth, persevere, and believe that time and effort will bring them greater rewards and achievements.


Pan Peng, General Manager of Magna Automotive Systems (Kunshan) Co., Ltd., expressed, "We warmly welcome these outstanding students majoring in Microelectronics to join our team. Their knowledge and enthusiasm will inject new vitality into the company's innovation and development. We believe that this internship experience will provide students with a valuable opportunity to gain in-depth understanding of automotive electronic technology and lay a solid foundation for their future careers."


This cognitive internship is a valuable opportunity for students to apply the knowledge they have learned at school to real projects. They will be directly involved in the entire innovation process, from needs analysis to system design, from prototype production to testing and validation, gradually mastering professional skills and problem-solving abilities. The students stated, "As students majoring in Microelectronics, we are very interested in automotive electronic technology. Through this internship, we can gain more practical experience and teamwork skills, laying a solid foundation for our future career development."
